LISPACE 8104 is an environmentally friendly, modified acrylic binder for ceramic coated separators. It offers higher glass transition temperature, superior adhesion, and enhanced storage stability compared to emulsion-type binders. When used for ceramic separator coating, it significantly boosts heat resistance, with less than 5% thermal shrinkage after 1 hour at 200°C.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Separator binder LISPACE 8104 is a modified acrylic polymer aqueous solution product. This series of products is environmentally friendly. Compared with emulsion-type water-based binders, it has a higher glass transition temperature, better adhesion and storage stability, as well as higher heat resistance. Using this series of binders for ceramic separator coating can significantly enhance the heat resistance of the ceramic coated separator, with a thermal shrinkage rate of less than 5% after being maintained at 200°C for 1 hour.

APPLICATIONS:

An acrylic binder for ceramic coated separators in lithium ion batteries.

 

PERFORMANCE

 The ceramic-coated separator has excellent heat-resistant shrinkage performance;

Good resistance to oxidation and reduction, with a wide electrochemical stability window;

 Good liquid absorption and low resistance;

 

 

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

            The product is packaged in plastic drums and should be stored sealed in a cool, dry environment at 5-35°C. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Packaging specifications: 50kg/200kg/1000kg.
